Tsukuba Research Institute:
At the Tsukuba Research Institute, the Exploratory Research Laboratory utilizes genomic technologies to search for new, medically promising compounds and elucidate their therapeutic potential, while the Pharmacokinetics Research Laboratory Tsukuba studies the behavior of newly discovered compounds. |
Minase Research Institute:
The Medicinal Chemistry Research Laboratory designs new compounds using information technologies, and devises efficient methods of synthesis with high-speed synthetic and screening equipment. Three separate Discovery Research Laboratories evaluate the pharmaceutical effectiveness of synthesized compounds, searching for highly innovative drugs in our priority research areas of prostaglandins, enzyme inhibitors, neuroscience, and intracellular signaling.
